About
Codebloom
At Codebloom, we empower children ages 7-14 to move beyond passive consumption of technology and become creators of it.
Through immersive, hands-on coding labs, we invite kids to explore coding and computing, sparking curiosity, building critical thinking skills, and demystifying the ever-more sophisticated technologies that shape their everyday lives. By introducing computational thinking and applying coding principles beyond the screen, we help them grow into adaptable problem-solvers and insightful thinkers.
With technical learning intertwined with mindfulness-inspired projects, we cultivate the resilience, creativity, and awareness needed to engage with technology wisely in a quickly evolving world.
See ProgramsOur Vision
Our vision is to inspire a generation of young minds to become grounded innovators, empathetic leaders, and purposeful creators. We strive to cultivate future leaders who use technology ethically and contribute meaningfully to the world around them. Through knowledge, compassion, and resilience, we aim to help children grow into secure, confident individuals capable of shaping a brighter future for themselves, their communities, and the world.
We envision Codebloom as a driving force in evolving education to meet the modern challenges children face. By integrating coding, and mindfulness, we aim to equip children with the intrinsic skills — such as adaptability, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving — needed to thrive in a rapidly changing, tech-first world while inspiring educational systems to prioritize these essential competencies.
Who
we are

Janyl Jumadinova
Janyl has been passionate about computing education for over a decade, teaching robotics and coding to kids from kindergarten through high school and beyond. She believes coding is more than just a technical skill - it's a powerful way to develop focus, patience, and creative problem-solving.
For Janyl, Codebloom is an exciting opportunity to bring together computing and mindfulness. She sees coding as the perfect training ground for practicing mindfulness, and vice versa, recognizing that both require persistence, adaptability, and a calm, curious mindset. Through Codebloom, she is dedicated to making computing education more accessible and helping every child develop the skills and mindset they need to thrive in a technology powered world.

Nuno Faustino
With a background that includes writing for Disney and building interactive experiences as a web designer, Nuno has a unique perspective on how storytelling and the creative potential of technology work together to be powerful transformative tools.
Along the way, he also discovered the benefits of mindfulness practices for cultivating balance and well-being. While teaching his own children how to code, Nuno saw first-hand how the combination of coding and mindfulness helps kids develop focus, navigate challenges with greater ease and promote their overall happiness. He is grateful for the opportunity to share these insights with other children.

Camila Gomez
For Camila, Codebloom represents an opportunity to channel her professional background in marketing into something deeply meaningful — investing in her community and its young people.
Passionate about the intersection of technology and education, she believes deeply in Codebloom's mission to equip kids with the skills and mindset they need to thrive in a digital world. With gaps in computer science education and digital literacy more apparent than ever, she is committed to bringing this fresh approach to Meadville and beyond — empowering kids to not just consume technology but to understand, create, and use it with purpose.
